GCRA is proud to host the 40th Jack Speakmon Memorial Regatta! The regatta is hosted on Sunday following the high school Blake Haxton Fall Regatta on Saturday, allowing for a full weekend of racing amidst the backdrop of fall foliage on the beautiful Griggs Reservior. Speakmon offers a 5k head race experience for all rowers - sculling and sweeping from juniors to masters and para/adaptive/inclusion events! For non-rowers, there is great spectating from the shoreline (be sure to check out the hospitality tent!). Our goal is to provide the best fall racing experience in the midwest!

A commemorative 40th Anniversary Vintage-Style Rowing Posters will be available for purchase. Details to come!

NEW THIS YEAR:

Alumni 1,000m 8+ and 4+ Events: Open to high school or collegiate alumni rowers to experience the fun of rowing together again! This will be the last race of the morning session, right before the lunch break. More details to come!


COMPOSTING your food scraps in the team tent area will be offered this year!

The HOSPITALITY SUITE tickets will be available this year. Check out our social media for purchasing announcements!
Located within the Lashutka Event Center (3479 Riverside Drive, 43221)

$25 gets you all-day access to warmth, comfort, TV with sports games, private indoor bathrooms, refreshments, and breakfast courtesy of GCRA volunteers, all with a porch view of the finish line! Lunch is not included though Pitabilities Food Truck will be on site and you can enjoy your order inside!

The MASSAGE TENT returns, provided by Momentum Sports Massage. Details to come!
